Dulos (Duloz) Crescent-Star Ottoman Stamps (1865–1882)

The crescent-star Ottoman Empire stamps were issued between 1865 and 1882. Since the printing plates were prepared by a French engraver, Monsieur Dulos, these stamps are also known as Duloz stamps.

Within this period, a total of six different types of postage and revenue (tax) stamps were printed and used. Although there are six distinct types, they share many common design features.
